Gerald Green put in the best performance of his career in what is to date proving to be the best season of his career, claiming 41 points in the Phoenix Suns win against the Oakland City Thunder earlier this month.

And how have his team rewarded him? By creating a video of his performance based on the cult video game NBA Jam.

Green led the way in the 122-128 win on March 7, beating his previous career-high tally of 36 points against the Denver Nuggets last month.

NBA Jam started life as an arcade game back in 1993 and has garnered a cult following over the years for its iconic graphics and novelty gameplay.

Now the Suns have moved to bring it back to life to commemorate Green's performance - and we have to admit it's pretty cool.
