On April 15, Manny Pacquiao will either make way for his comeback or face his ultimate demise when he faces Timothy Bradley for the second time. Bradley, who beat Pacquiao the last time round after a very controversial decision, will look to defend his title once more.
Since Pacquiao’s first defeat to Bradley he has been knocked out cold by Juan Manuel Marquez but he has also recorded a victory against Brandon Rios. Should Pacquiao get defeated a second time by Bradley, who has become a more seasoned fighter than in their last fight, it would be safe to say that the ”Pacman” is past it and should no longer be in the discussion to fight Floyd Mayweather - a fight which by the looks of it will never happen anyway.
The first fight between these two fighters saw Pacquiao getting the job done, he didn’t knock him out, he didn’t beat him up, but he got the job done, which is why he won every single round except one - thus fuelling the controversial decision when Bradley was named winner on the judges' scorecards. Pacquiao has recently spoken about the upcoming fight against Bradley when he told the website badlefthook.com: ”If Bradley wants to meet the fighter who stopped Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton, Erik Morales and Marco Antonio Barrera, he's going to get his wish on April 12."
Forget a potential Mayweather vs. Pacquiao, this is the fight that at this moment will define which Pacquiao the world will see in the future.
If he is defeated: he never had it, if he wins, he is back in contention.
