Milan Baros admits his goal return for Liverpool "could have been better" - but he is confident he can find the net for Aston Villa on the same regular basis as he does for the Czech Republic.

Baros made the perfect start for his new club following his £6.5million move from Anfield by scoring the only goal in Saturday´s 1-0 home win over Blackburn. And he believes Villa´s style of attacking football under manager David O´Leary will enable him to deliver a greater goal output.

Baros told PA Sport: "At Villa it is clear that the manager also wants to play attacking football and he has shown that wherever he has managed. That will also be good for me."
