It's official, Michael Vick is now a New York Jet whilst Mark Sanchez is no longer.

The news broke Friday evening as after reports that Sanchez had been cut, Michael Vick was almost immediately announced as the new QB for the Jets.

Vick has been rattling around the free agency for the past couple of weeks after being cut by the Philadelphia Eagles who decided to side with Nick Foles.

So what's the package? Well Vick will get a one-year contract to the tune of $5 million. Which is quite a tidy sum for a guy arguably in his final season.

But where does he start? Well Vick has the experience that will greatly aid an up and coming Geno Smith, but whether or not he starts is a question only Rex Ryan can answer.

He'll be making some waves no doubt and is likely to start even if he only plays three quarters a game. His injury problems will be a big worry for the Jets.

But Michael Vick, after weeks of speculation, and media torture, finally has a home. Enjoy, New York!
