Seattle Seahawks told to wait by the doctors

Published Add your comment

Seattle Seahawks free agency target Jermichael Finley has been told he is months away from signing for any NFL team.

Finley had surgery in November to fuse his C3 and C4 vertebrae together in an attempt to cure spinal problems.

The former Green Bay Packers Tight-end visited Seahawks GM John Schneider last week and it has been reported that both Finley and the Super Bowl champions are interested in the deal happening.

Finley has apparently been told to stay in touch with the Seahawks during the remainder of his rehabilitation.

The Seahawks run a heavy rush based offense with Russell Wilson at the helm but the signing of Finley would give them depth at Tight-end.

Finley would join Luke Willson, Anthony McCoy and Zach Miller in the Tight-end pool in Seattle and could provide some talent to a fairly limited passing game.
