Kevin Durant saves the Oklahoma City Thunder

Published Add your comment

It took two OT periods to separate the Oklahoma City Thunder and Toronto Raptors but finally there was a saviour and it was only ever going to be one man.

Kevin Durant scored 51 points on the night and hit a three pointer with 1.7 left in the final overtime period to give the win to the Thunder.

Down by two with less than 10 seconds left Durant got the ball and despite a momentary loss of control he took it and put up the game winning 3 points.

The Thunder now return home to play the Denver Nuggets after wrapping up a three game road trip where they won all three culminating with the dramatic result in Toronto.
