Despite all of Silva's undoubted ability and quality here, however, he has the ultimate test as he comes up against 2013 Ballon d'Or victor and arguably the greatest footballer on the planet in Portuguese Ronaldo.

Who wins?

Silva is a wonderful talent and it is certainly a pleasure to see him ply his trade in the Premier League on a weekly basis.

However, we have to go with Ronaldo, who has just been utterly phenomenal this season.
