A poll among NFL fans today has shown that the majority of NFL fans are against the league's international expansion.
ProFootballTalk reported today that the NFL may consider adding a fourth international series game at Wembley. The league will host three games in London this fall but a huge amount of fans seem unhappy with the idea.
A poll on the website showed that 74.54% of fans did not think that the NFL should play any games overseas.
14.14% of fans polled said that three games were enough whilst only a small 11.32% of fans would like bigger expansion on an international scale.
The poll is still open but after over 11,000 votes have been cast, it seems that a consensus opinion is emerging.
However no matter what fans think, it is ultimately league executives and team owners that make the decision over expanding the NFL brand overseas and whilst it is viewed as a profitable venture the policy will continue.
NFL commissioner, Roger Goodell has backtracked in recent months however after initially seeming positive about a London-based franchise in the future and has now viewed the idea as logistically problematic.
What do you think? Should the NFL play games in London? Let us know in the comments.
