LA Lakers Center Pau Gasol is a doubt for the teams game against the New York Knicks on Tuesday night.
Gasol has been diagnosed with vertigo after leaving their victory over the Orlando Magic on Sunday after suffering from nausea and dizziness.
Gasol spent the night in hospital but an MRI scan of his head has revealed everything as normal.
Vertigo, a disease often associated with the 1958 Alfred Hitchcock movie of the same name is also associated with a fear of heights which standing at 7-foot, Gasol would be unlikely to have.
Gasol will be re-examined on Tuesday but is expected to miss the visit of the Knicks as he becomes another on a long list of Lakers players suffering from injury or ailment.
Steve Nash is also questionable for Tuesdays game with the usual back problems while Guard Xavier Henry is planning on playing with a torn ligament in his wrist.
The Lakers are currently 23-46 and on course for their worst season ever since moving to California so they will be hoping that Gasol comes down from the heights of vertigo soon.
