Mark Sanchez's emotional goodbye to New York Jets

Published Add your comment

Mark Sanchez has said goodbye to the New York Jets with an open letter to fans.

The former Jets QB, apparently being touted by the Philadelphia Eagles now he's a free agent, wrote candidly about his appreciation for this time in New York.

He cited the AFC Championship run as being a big highlight of his career and that he regrets not being able to bring the big trophy home.

He thanked the fans not only for supporting him but supporting the team as a whole and the community for supporting his family.

Sanchez was cut by the Jets on Friday shortly before they signed up free agent Michael Vick as a free agent.

Vick had previously been playing for the Philadelphia Eagles, so if Sanchez goes there, you'd think New York might have missed a trick for a decent trade deal.

Sanchez is currently a free agent so he could potentially go anywhere but the reports of him going to the Eagles are quite strong.

How this would affect Nick Foles position as starter is unclear but most people believe that this will not be affected by Sanchez's arrival.
