New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft has come out and made perhaps his biggest attempt to date to convince star Defensive lineman Vince Wilfork to remain with his franchise.

Kraft said: "You know, going back over the last 20 years, if I was to think, we've had some pretty special people come through and he is one of my personal favorites,"

Listing Wilfork up there with names such as Troy Brown, Kevin Faulk and Matt Light, Kraft has shown how highly he rates the most physics defying player in the NFL.

Wilfork has been with the Patriots for 10 years and shocked the football world when he came out looking to leave Foxborough earlier this off-season.

Robert Kraft took over the Patriots completely in 1994 and many of the names he mentioned in Monday's interviews were signings made before he took total control of the franchise.

Which begs the question who - other than Wilfork himself are the best signings made under the ownership of Kraft?

Well here are the top five NFL players to have signed for the New England Patriots since 1994.
