After Chelsea’s surprising drubbing of Arsenal and Liverpool’s goal-fest with Cardiff City last weekend there is only one thing clear about the Premier League this season, expect the unexpected.

For the first time, the tussle for the title will not feature Manchester United, who unsurprisingly contribute to this list on more than one occasion.

So too do Tottenham Hotspur, after some shock defeats this term that ultimately cost Andre Villas-Boas his job.

There are shock wins for the likes of Cardiff and Hull, whilst drubbings handed out by Manchester City and Liverpool also make the list.

With than in mind here are the top ten shock results of the season so far, with some painful memories for some of the Premier League's leading lights.
