Hoddle made almost 400 league appearances for Spurs in 13 seasons at White Hart Lane, having joined the club on schoolboy terms. He also appeared for Monaco, before becoming player manager at Swindon, then at Chelsea.
The England job was next for Hoddle, before his controversial departure, while he spent two years as Tottenham manager with spells at Southampton and Wolves either side of his return to the Lane.
