Top 10: Unlikely stars set for big moves this summer (1)

Summer transfers can be notoriously difficult to predict. Admittedly there’s plenty of moves that take place which have been in the works for a good while, but often surprises are sprung which leave the bulk of football fans scratching their heads.

Mesut Ozil to Arsenal was one; a deal which people would have laughed at right up until the minute when the German signed on the dotted line. That’s why the transfer dealings between big clubs are just so exciting - you never really know what might happen.

Much in the same way there’s plenty of characters who can be content, happy or perhaps off the radar at a certain club one year, only to find themselves thrust into the transfer limelight the season after. With this in mind we’ve constructed a list of ten unlikely individuals who could oh so easily find themselves on the verge of a summer switch. They may not have been the talk of the town last year - in fact you probably didn’t know half of them even existed.
