Like they have with many teams across Europe since the billionaire inject, Manchester City have boosted the finances of Sevilla following the acquisition of a couple of their top players.
Jesus Navas and Alvaro Negredo were both signed by Manchester City in the summer transfer window of last year, with the club paying a combined total of around £30 million to bring the pair to the Etihad Stadium.
Negredo has certainly proved himself worth the fee since his arrival in England, with the self-styled ‘beast’ having scored 23 times in all competitions during his maiden season as a City player.
