Creighton said goodbye to the NCAA Tournament on Sunday after a defeat to the Baylor Bears.

And in the immediate aftermath head coach Greg McDermott gave a truly emotional speech to his players that could rival any sports movie through the ages.

The Bluejays, and their star man Doug McDermott, sat back and let the tears flow as their coach spoke proudly of their achievements during their college careers, on and off the court.

The team had just come off the back of a disappointing performance against the no. 6 Baylor but McDermott chose to bypass postgame analysis in favor of a speech that tugged at the heart strings of everyone watching.

Invoking Al Pacino or Denzel Washington, the coach talked of inspiration, dedication, magnitude and respect in an attempt to pick up his young athletes after one of their toughest defeats.

Special praise was reserved for Dougie McBuckets and his truly astonishing college career, but each and every player was praised by the coach individually and McDermott  was visibly emotional at several points during the 9 minute long speech.
