Real Madrid are set to make a swoop for Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart worth £25million in the summer transfer market, according to an exclusive in today's Daily Star.

The transfer is one made all the more possible by the fact that Los Blancos have been heavily tipped to bring in a new No.1 during the summer market. With current No.1 Diego Lopez not convincing Carlo Ancelloti that he is a long term replacement and lker Casillas down in terms of the pecking order, the Madrid boss will be hoping to sign a world class man between the sticks

With Pellegrini's axing of Hart earlier in the season, speculation has been rife about his future. Real might have a genuine chance in signing the Englishman, and probably believe that due to some of his recent comments he has still not gotten over his treatment earlier in the year.

The fact that Gareth Bale and Joe Hart share the same agent doesn't dampen the probability of England's No.1 leaving the Etihad, and City fans will probably watch the situation with some interest.
