Football News

We start in the NFL, and the continuing speculation over the future of Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson.

The three-time Pro Bowler has been linked with a trade away from the Linc, but is set to stay after talks with Chip Kelly last night.

In the NBA, Dallas claimed a crucial win against the Oklahoma City Thunder, with Dirk Nowizki coming alive late in an overtime win for the Mavs.

The Cleveland Cavaliers kept their play-off hopes alive in the East with a 102-100 win over Toronto, whilst the Knicks suffered a blow with defeat to the Lakers.

In the NHL, St Louis moved closer to 50 wins for the season with a 5-3 victory over Toronto, whilst Columbus moved into a wild card position with a win over Detroit.

And finally, in baseball, the Boston Red Sox made the annual trip to The White House yesterday, as the World Series winners met president Barack Obama.
