For Manchester United, the end of the 2013/14 season - their worst campaign of the Premier League era - can’t come soon enough,

The Red Devils have gone from Premier League champions to a club competing for a Europa League spot in less than a year. In short, it’s been an unmitigated disaster.

While there have been plenty of calls for the United hierarchy to sack David Moyes, even more important is an overhaul of the squad.

There are a handful of players who are either past their best or not good enough - and Moyes, or whoever replaces him, must ensure that quality is brought in this summer.

Here are five changes that Manchester United should look to make when the transfer window reopens.
