Stars of the Premier League have just under two months to prove that they are a) worthy of sealing a spot in their respective national team's World Cup squad or b) deserving of a new deal at their current side or a multi-million move to a top European side.
There is also a lot left to be sorted out in the top-flight of English football with European places up for grabs, sides still battling to avoid relegation to the Championship and at least three sides trying to get their hands on the Premier League title.
Some players manage to put in consistent displays week-in, week-out - while others tend to have stronger months than others.
