Say what you want about the rise and fall of a player’s form over the course of a season, but it’s during the last ten or so games that the quality of their performances are of the most importance.

With the World Cup also looming there’s an added emphasis on players to perform during the closing stages of this campaign, and a bulk of the biggest names will be vying to give their respective teams the best possible chance of taking home silverware. Though the Serie A and Bundesliga titles may be all but settled already, there’s still plenty to play for in the biggest leagues in Europe, and so it’s very much looking like the form of certain players could be the difference between success and ultimate disappointment.

As we enter the last - and naturally most important - quarter of the club season, there’s no better time for a player to be hitting a hot streak. Here we give you the stars who are the most in-form on the planet.

We like the idea of form having a direct effect on a team’s ability to win trophies, so we’ve done our best to stick to the players whose sides are near the top of their respective leagues.
