Brewers Dog gets MLB lifetime contract

Published Add your comment

It's not everyday you see a dog given a baseball contract but that's exactly what happened today, although he won't be pitching anytime soon.

A dog by the name of Hank has been given a lifetime contract to be the mascot of the Milwaukee Brewers.

The Major League Baseball ball club and Hank have developed a unique relationship since the turn of the year, in a real Hollywood style romance.

Hank was found by the club when he arrived at their spring facilities for spring training.

The date was February 17th, and after trying to find an owner the ball club took the dog under their wing.

His journey didn't stop there, with the Brewers paying to sort out his laceration, and now he's fully recovered he has a lifetime contract to boot.

Named in honor of Hank Aaron, the dog also appeared in a Sausage Race on February 26th dressed in a hot dog costume.
