Manchester United coach Phil Neville has fuelled speculation that change is afoot at Old Trafford after posting a mysterious message on Instagram.
The 37-year-old, who was brought in as part of David Moyes's backroom team in the summer, referenced a famous Charles Darwin quote, that could be perceived as a dig at the former Everton manager.
"It is not the strongest of species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is the most adaptable to change," read the message.
At a time where Moyes is coming under increasing scrutiny from Red Devils fans, following a disastrous debut campaign since succeeding Sir Alex Ferguson, Neville could be intimating that the current manager must alter his philosophy and tactics that have proved unsuccessful in 2013/14.
Alternative theories suggest that the former Manchester United defender is calling for a complete change from the top down, with reports in The Sun today proposing that Neville, along with his brother Gary, David Beckham and the rest of the 'Class of 92' are set to front multi-billion pound takeover of the club.
Either way, Neville's post certainly sparked a mass debate amongst his Instagram followers, with numerous Manchester United fans sending messages which appear to support a change of manager.
