Manchester United starlet Andreas Pereira has revealed he's motivated by the progress of Adnan Januzaj.
In an interview with Manchester United's official site, the youngster - who joined the Red Devils from PSV Eindhoven in 2012 - has been inspired by the performances of Januzaj in recent time.
The midfielder, who can play in the No.10 position, has been making a name for himself whilst starring in Warren Joyce's Under-21s side in this campaign.
And when asked as whether he sees Januzaj as a role model, Pereira responded by saying: "It's a motivation to see him doing well and doing everything right because you know what you have to do.
"Adnan took his chance and did extremely well and now he's regularly with the first team. We always go out together socially, with Charni [Ekangamene] as well."
In a disastrous season for Manchester United, Januzaj has been one of the standout performers for David Moyes' side, and now Pereira will be hoping to emulate the 19-year-old in the coming months and years.
At just 18-years-old, there appears to be a lot of expectation on Pereira and Manchester United fans will be hoping to see him in action in the near future.
Manchester United are currently gearing themselves up for their Premier League clash with Aston Villa this weekend. The Red Devils will be desperate to get back to winning ways against Paul Lambert's side, and it remains to be seen as to whether Pereira will break into the first team any time soon.
