LeBron James praises Johnny Manziel after pro day

NBA star, LeBron James has praised NFL draft prospect Johnny Manziel after his pro day at Texas A&M today.

Manziel completed all but one pass during the workout and impressed by connecting with receivers on deep throws multiple times.

James tweeted: "Just finished watching my bro @JManziel2 pro day!! Don't take him if u want 2. He's a flat out STAR! Accuracy on point! #StriveForGreatness"

The NBA star recently appeared in a McDonalds commercial alongside Manziel and the two are apparently friendly.

Manziel's pro day was highly anticipated after fellow NFL draft quarterback prospect, Teddy Bridgewater suffered during his workout earlier this month. The former Aggie's workout was shown live on NFL Nertwork and former U.S President, George W. Bush was in attendance.

Clearly there were a number of high profile celebrities watching at home too with the self-proclaimed 'King James' showing his adoration.

Whether Manziel's pro day will catapult the quarterback to a high draft selection remains to be seen but he has clearly won himself some fans with his performance today.
