Miguel Cabrera has never been know as the most mobile of players during his 10-year stay in Major League Baseball.
But it seems he has been keeping his suppleness a secret from everyone if this weird new Playstation commercial, entitled 'Tranquilo Yoga with Miggy', is anything to go by.
In the ad, aired to promote upcoming game 'MLB 14: The Show', the Detroit Tigers first baseman is shown channeling his inner zen amidst a tranquil oceanside scene, with the help of his two 'Miggylitas'.
As retro 1980s synth music plays in the background, Cabrera goes about his yoga routine which gets progressively intense.
Now don't quote us on this, but we think there may be some sort of hi-tech CGI/budget fake legs in play here.
Irregardless, watching Cabrera's two assistants help raise his legs above his head is a strangely impressive site.
Part of their 'baseball is better' campaign, Playstation have managed to create a commercial that lies somewhere between bizarre and amazing - we will let you be the judge.
One thing is for certain, we won't be able to watch the 30-year old MLB star's pre-game warm ups in quite the same way ever again.
