CM Punk is continuing to ignore the WWE, and has even stopped to talking to many of the wrestlers he was friends with during his time there, according to reports in the U.S.
WhatCulture, citing reports in The Wrestling Observer, claims that the alienated former WWE Heavyweight champion is showing the cold shoulder to the organization and has been maintaining a queer level of silence since his departure at the end of January. Of course wrestling headlines have been frequently dominated by Punk since his decision to leave the company, though some suggested that he would be back before too long.
In stark contrast to initial expectations however it’s thought that the 35-year-old has no interest in returning anytime soon, and as such has done his best to move on without the WWE in tow. This led the editor of the Observer to describe his stance as a “surprising level of nuclear silence.”
In recent days it’s been made speculated that the WWE are clearly unhappy with the situation concerning Punk, which they originally described as him merely taking a sabbatical. The longer the two parties stand at loggerheads; the less likely it seems he will return.
