The WWE have invited Liverpool and England striker, Daniel Sturridge to attend their UK tour this May after the Premier League star admitted his passion for wrestling.
Sturridge said recently during an interview with SBTV that he was interested in wrestling when he was younger before he set his future on football. He also said that The Undertaker was his favourite wrestler despite probably being too old for dressing up as wrestlers now.
WWE UK disagreed however and tweeted at the 24-year old today: "@D_Sturridge You're never too old for #WWE - We'd love you to come to our #WWEUKTour in May!"
There has been no word from Sturridge yet if he is going to take up the offer but it would surely be the experience of a lifetime for any WWE fan.
The WWE UK tour will run from the 14th to the 22nd of May this year and will take in a number of venues throughout England, Scotland and Ireland. The tour will visit Sturridge's home town of Birmingham at the NIA on the 18th May.
It's possible that Sturridge will have a Premier League title to celebrate by that time with Liverpool just one point adrift of leaders Manchester City.
