In the modern game, it is increasingly important for footballers to be bigger, stronger and faster then ever. 

As the days of the diminutive player seemingly diminish, especially in England, it seems as though the strong-man flourishes in a day and age where the game flows at an incredible pace.

Yaya Toure is the perhaps the prime example of the perfect 'athlete'. The Ivorian can get from box-to-box faster than the average Premier League footballer's Ferrari can get from 0-100.
