Dodgers have no reason not to reach the World Series

Just two years ago the Los Angeles Dodgers where a team down in the dumps with nothing to look forward too. They had just lost their owner due to a divorce and they were one of the worst teams in the whole NL, but their fortunes have since then changed.

The biggest reason for the Dodgers' new-found success is their new ownership which consists of six people, the biggest name of them being former Laker Magic Johnson.

This ownership has done everything it possibly could to get this team on track and now they can gladly say they have formed one of the most talented teams in MLB. They have bought numerous stars in Hanley Ramirez,Adrian Gonzalez, Hyun Jin Ryu,Yasiel Puig, Zack Greinke and Carl Crawford.

This is a very big year for the Dodgers squad, they made a huge breakthrough last season, after starting where they left off the season before they made a comeback to become the best team in the NL West, and some may say it was because of their internal spark plug aka Cuban sensation Yasiel Puig who started the Dodgers engine last season when it was on empty.

He along with Hanley Ramirez and very underrated Adrian Gonzalez helped power the offense when Matt Kemp and Crawford were injured, which gave the pitching all the runs they needed to win games.

To many people, the Dodgers not making the World Series last year was a huge let down, but you can't really blame them for that, right? I mean they started off so bad due to injuries, so the whole season they were trying to climb up a mountain to get to the top.

I would say if they had a healthy Kemp their team would have taken their game to the next level, lets not forget the guy was one home run away from a 40-40 season - something that only four other people have done.

So, with Kemp coming back and them being healthy again I cannot give them the benefit of the doubt. The team has had a whole year together to mesh with each other and skipper Don Mattingly has to have this team playing great ball from start to finish.

The Dodgers lineup is filled with so much talent that them making the World Series shouldn't be far fetched from their projections. If they didn't make it to the World Series it would not only be a big disappointment but it would also be a tragedy.

The owners have spent a profusion of money to get them the talent they need to get to the World Series. Not only do they have one of the best hitting lineups in the league but they also have one of the best rotations, led by two time Cy Young award winner Clayton Kershaw who is most definitely the best and most polished pitcher in the MLB.

At the end of the day if the Dodgers didn't make it all the way. there is a chance that a team that has as big a pay roll as the Dodgers will get blown up.

As a fellow Dodgers fan I am looking forward to one of the most hyped up season in many years, and hope to be seeing them play in October.
