Ahead of the much anticipated quarter-final clash between PSG and Chelsea next Wednesday, the limelight for the time being has turned to two Chelsea stars who are the subject of interest for Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.
The French giants have been long admirers of the duo and have also been linked in the past. However, according to reports, they are now ready to offer £41.5million for the services of Oscar. The Brazilian No.10 has also taken over the playmaking role for the Blues since the departure of Juan Mata to Manchester United.
Oscar has 11 goals and nine assists in the current season from 41 games and is one of the key members of Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea roster.
On the other hand, a known prodigy to Ligue 1 is the Belgian sensation, Eden Hazard.
Undoubtedly the best Chelsea player this term and one of the favourites of Mourinho, the winger has been tipped for big things.
The deal that is being placed by the French giants for Hazard is said to be £50million, which if becomes a reality will be the second largest deal for the club behind Edinson Cavani.
Hazard has 29 goals, 34 assists in 109 matches for Chelsea since his £32million switch from Lille in the summer of 2012.
The news would no doubt anger Mourinho, who has said that Chelsea are the ‘underdogs’ going into the Champions League tie. It will be hard for PSG to tempt Chelsea to part ways with two of their prized possessions, even though they are offering such massive money.
The Premier League leaders play PSG away at Parc des Princes on Wednesday, and the return leg is on April 8 at Stamford Bridge.
