Replacing national legend Marcello Lippi as head coach in May 2010, Prandelli - who is the 18th highest paid football manager in the world - took Italy to the final at Euro 2012, as well as a third-placed finish at the Confederations Cup a year later.

After guiding his country to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil this summer, the 56-year-old penned a new two-year contract that will take him to the end of Euro 2016. But, before then, there is the small matter of this summer, with expectation levels high for Prandelli and his players.
