Just days after DeSean Jackson was released from the Philadelphia Eagles amid claims of gang relations, Arizona Cardinals Defensive Lineman Darnell Dockett has backed the Eagles stance.

The ever entertaining Dockett used his Twitter page to not only show his support for the NFL's tough stance on gang relations but ensure commissioner Roger Goddel* (no that is not a typo, keep reading) that his guns, are legal.

Dockett Tweeted: "The NFL shield is bigger than any football player.. It's all about how you represent that shield and the team you play for."

Clearly Dockett was showing his support for the Eagles in their decision to release the Wide Receiver, but the charismatic Tweeter didn't stop there.

In fact he tried to justify some of his past actions by tweeting again, this time claiming "I may do crazy stuff for a good lol, or share my world but I won't do nothing dumb or really stupid. I have never had to go sit with goddel"

So if these Tweets weren't enough to make Commissioner Goddel* feel better about the D-Lineman, his third tweet on the issue surely was.

"Any gun I post on social network I own and have a license for!! And I now have a permit to carry a conceal weapon. I'm strapped right now😬"

No word on just how happy Commissioner Goddel* or the Arizona Cardinals as a franchise are to hear that Dockett is 'strapped' just yet but his Twitter comments may have opened a far bigger issue than first intended.
