LeBron would quit Miami Heat for Cabrera deal

Miami Heat star LeBron James has claimed to be jealous of the deal signed by Miguel Cabrera on Friday.

Cabrera sealed a 10-year-deal with the Detroit Tigers which guarantees him $292 million over its duration.

Now the biggest name in the NBA has claimed to be jealous of the deal and said he wishes the NBA didn't have a salary cap.

James was quoted as saying: "He's the best player in baseball, and the best players in each sport should be rewarded,"

James earns an estimated $40 million in endorsements alone and was ranked fourth in 'Forbes' magazine's ranking of all athletes in total earnings earlier this year.

When asked if he would opt out of his current Heat contract to get a deal of the monetry value of Cabrera's he simply smiled and said "I would do it this summer for sure,"
