The Elite Eight Preview (1)

Published Add your comment

The Elite Eight is set, with a few teams expected at the beginning of the tournament, one team expected at the beginning of the year, and one legitimate Cinderella.

The eight schools remaining have won 10 of the last 20 national championships, and have combined to win 18 NCAA tournaments.

The trendy picks to win the tournament were Florida and Michigan State, and if both the Gators and Spartans win on Sunday, they'll face off in one national semi-final.

On the other side of the bracket, Michigan is the only final four team from last year still alive, after Kentucky dethroned defending national champions, Louisville.

It'll be an exciting couple of days as the 68 continues to get whittled down to one shining champion.

Here are the match-ups for the Elite Eight.
