4. Arsenal 1- 0 Manchester City, 2005

Again memorable for a bizarre Arsenal error.

After cooly slotting home a penalty to give Arsenal the lead, Robert Pires was presented with a second chance from the spot when Thierry Henry was fouled in the box.

However, the Frenchman tried to cheekily roll the ball to an onrushing Henry but instead merely rolled his studs over the ball causing confusion and more than a bit of embarrassment.

Luckily the Gunners got the win, although a late Darius Vassell chance nearly denied them the three points.
