Baseball is fun for a few reasons. But the biggest reason of them all is the paycheck you can earn when you're playing at a high level. If you didn't know, there is no other team sport in America that allows you to get payed like a baseball player does, and two of the best players in the MLB just got rewarded for their grand play on the field.

Miguel Cabrera just signed a 10 year contract for $292 million which practically locks him up for the rest of his career. As he is one of the greatest hitters we have ever seen in baseball history, he was much deserving of the contract. He will be getting payed a ton of money for a long time and living the high life shouldn't be a problem with that type of money.

The other superstar to get payed big in baseball was none other than Mike Trout who though didn’t get payed as much still got enough money to do whatever he wishes as he inked a six-year contract for $144.5 million. For a third year player that is an insanely good contract. It shows how much faith the Angels show in their young stud outfielder

When I first saw that both of these guys signed contracts like this all I thought was sorry for all the other players in the AL. I mean who else in the world can do what either Trout or Miggy can? There is no beating them, so everyone in the AL trying to win an MVP may have a tough time doing so with at least six years of both of them being in the same division.

It has already been a great MVP race for the past two years so seeing as they will be in the same league even longer I am excited to see who wins the most MVPs within this time span.

What this does for the Angels and Tigers is basically give their offenses some stability for many years because with players like Miggy and Trout in your lineup you will always pose a threat to the opposing pitcher.

I'm happy that both of these players got their much needed contracts and can’t wait to see them battle it out for the MVP every single year. It should add a little spice to the whole league and set a table for what other superstar players should be getting payed
