10. Dennis Bergkamp

That Arsenal erected a statue of Dennis Bergkamp outside of the Emirates Stadium earlier this year tells you how much of an impact he made in the Premier League.

The Dutchman, who spent 11 successful years with Arsenal, was a magnificent player at his peak. One of the most intelligent footballers of the Premier League era, the ex-Netherlands international provided countless assists for his teammate courtesy of his stunning awareness and passing ability.

It’s no coincidence that, since Bergkamp left in 2006, Arsenal have failed to win a trophy. They’ve never quite managed to replace the attacking maestro, who now works as the assistant manager of Ajax.
