Borussia Dortmund forward Marco Reus has warned Real Madrid his side are ready to face them in the Champions League this Wednesday, after a decisive win against Stuttgart yesterday.
The German outfit prepared for their Champions League clash with a 3-2 win against struggling Stuttgart in the Bundesliga, with star-man Reus inspiring his side to comeback from two goals down, hitting a stunning hat-trick.
The German ishowed he is coming back into form after recent injury problems earlier this month. His quick recovery and the confidence in Dortmund's squad could help their cause on Wednesday when they face a difficult trip to the Bernabeu.
"Goals are always good for self-confidence, and we are ready for Real," the 24-year-old German told Bild after scoring his hat-trick.
"I've also been injured several times," he added. "For me it's not just about goals - it's more important that I find my rhythm. And it keeps improving."
The German side, now sitting comfortably second on the Bundesliga table, will turn their attention to the Champions League where they once again face Real Madrid in a dramatic repeat of last year's semi-final draw, in which they memorably defeated the Spanish giants over two-legs to reach the final.
