Serena Williams continued her dominance in Miami when she defeated China's Li Na in straight sets to lift her seventh title at Crandon Park.

Williams rallied from 5/2 down in the first set to eventually win 7/6, 6/1, for her 59th career title and in the process improved to an 11-1 lifetime record against the Australian Open champion.

Williams who lives barely an hour away from Crandon Park, has dominated the event in unprecedented fashion. In fourteen appearances the world number has reached the final on nine occasions with seven wins.

It was a second title of the year for Williams following her win in Brisbane, the American taking home $787,000 with the victory, boosting her career earnings through an incredible $55 million.
