Will Inler be joining Liverpool this summer?.

Liverpool target £15m Swiss pair

Liverpool have set their transfer sights on Napoli pair Gokhan Inler and Valon Behrami, according to reports.

The Sunday People claims Brendan Rodgers wants to bring the Swiss pair to Merseyside in the summer transfer window, and is willing to use Pepe Reina as bait in the deal.

Reina has spent the season on loan at the San Paolo Stadium, and with Napoli on course for a top three finish this season, Champions League football awaits next term.

The Spaniard has impressed between the sticks in Italy, and could be offered away as part of the deal that sees Inler and Behrami move the other way to the Premier League.

Both midfielders, the pair are rated at £15million, whilst Liverpool value Reina at £6million, the report claims.

And, with talks between the two parties set to take place at the end of the season, a deal could happen that sees the Reds stopper join Rafa Benitez permanently once again.

If Inler and Behrami were to join Liverpool, then they could also expect Champions League football next season, as Rodgers' side challenge for the domestic title.
