We start on the PGA where Steven Bowditch has picked up his maiden tour title at the Valero Texas Open.

Despite a final round 76 the Australian held off the challenges of Will MacKenzie and Daniel Summerhays finishing a stroke clear at eight under par for victory in San Antonio.

Along with the $1million prize money, Bowditch was also rewarded with a pair of cowboy boots and a place at The Masters.

Across to the LPGA where Anna Nordqvist picked up her second win of 2014.

The Swede opened the tournament with a first round 73 but responded by pipping Lizette Salas to victory - next up is the first major of the season; the Kraft Nabisco Championship.

“It makes me believe a lot more in myself. I love Palm Springs and I love the Kraft Nabisco, my caddy is from there so I know he loves it there too and I couldn’t come into the first major of the season in a better position.”

And finally we bring you news from the EurAsia Cup where Asia rallied back to draw with Europe.

Trailing 5-0 from the first day, and 7-3 after the second Thongchai Jaidee’s men dominated the final day as the tournament finished 10-all winning six of the 10 singles matches.
