The Indiana Pacers continued their indifferent form this weekend with a couple of disappointing losses on the road.
And, as reported by NBA.com, it seems their big man Roy Hibbert is far from impressed with what he has seen recently.
Speaking after the team's Friday defeat to the Washington Wizards, Hibbert had a few choice words for the rest of the Pacers roster:
"Some selfish duded in here...I'm tired of talking about it. We've been talking about it for a month." he told reporters.
"We play hard, but we've got to move the ball.
"Is it obvious or what? I don't know whatever out assist ration, or whatever it is, is in the league, but it probably isn't up there," he continued.
Indeed the Pacers currently lie third-bottom in the assist list across both conferences and Hibbert is getting tired of their failure to correct the issue:
"We've been talking about it for a month. I'm not handing the rock...
"I've made suggestions before and we do it for, like, one game, and then we revert back to what we are.
"It directly affects me and the bigs. We're just out there and it makes us look bad," Hibbert said as he concluded his rant.
The Pacers remain top of the Eastern Conference with a 52-22 record but have struggled for consistency in recent times, posting 5-5 in their last 10 outings as the playoffs come ever closer.
If they are going to have a realistic chance of mounting a challenge this year Hibbert for one is clear on how they need to improve.
