DeSean Jackson is now a part of the Washington Redskins, according to reports this evening.
Wide receiver Jackson, who was made a free agent on Friday by the Philadelphia Eagles, is visiting Washington on Tuesday.
But the deal is said to have already been done, according to reports from NBC Sports.
This is Jackson's first visit to a team since becoming a free agent and he is apparently looking for around $10 million a year for a contract.
He managed to get over 1,300 yards last season and scored nine TD's, both a career high for him.
Washington would certainly be an appealing fit for both player and team as the much lauded Robert Griffin III would have another target to aim for, and one who is experienced enough to make plays successful.
The deal is set to be confirmed tomorrow after Jackson's visit, presumably after medicals and contract finalizations.
Time will tell if Jackson has taken a pay cut to facilitate the move, but as his contract this year with the Eagles would have been $10.5 million it's not likely he's had to sacrifice much of his target figure.
