The final Raw before WrestleMania kicked off with The Undertaker making his way to the ring.
The Phenom told the WWE Universe about his streak and how “21 men have stepped up and been sent down.” He talked about his opponent at WrestleMania and how he would react when he is put in deep water. He also asked if Brock would try to swim back to safety just like 21 people before him had but no one has ever made it to shore.
He said that some thought it was inevitable that the streak would be broken but he said there are three things that will never be beaten…Death, Taxes and The Streak. Brock and Paul Heyman interrupted and Paul talked about the fact that Brock doesn’t actually have to win, The Undertaker does. He then said Brock would end the streak on Sunday and that wasn’t a prediction, it was a spoiler.
Paul turned to leave but Brock headed down to the ring. But Undertaker was waiting for him but Brock instead circled the ring whilst Paul provided the distraction and put a chair in the ring. The two fought and Brock took Taker down before delivering the F5 to The Deadman.
Big E v Alberto Del Rio
With both these superstars in the Andre the Giant battle royal on Sunday, the two collided here on Raw with Big E picking up Del Rio and dropping him from his height behind his back. But Del Rio moved and Big E went shoulder first into the steel post to give The Mexican the opening.
Big E was back on top when Raw returned, as he hit the suplex but Del Rio targeted his injured arm, locking in an illegal hold. Del Rio jumped from the top rope but Big E caught him and turned it into a back breaker.
Del Rio then delivered the back stagger for a near fall, then went for the cross arm breaker but Big E countered into a back body drop followed by the splash then he went for the Big Ending but Del Rio locked in the cross arm breaker.
Big E used his strength to slam Del Rio for a two count but Del Rio went up to the top rope, knocked Big E down and delivered his superkick to the face for the win.
BACKSTAGE: Bray Wyatt said the world is bleeding from the inside out and craves change. He talked about a girl and how she told him he was born to lead and to change the world and said that soon everyone will see John as he sees him, as a monster. before singing to end the segment.
Summer Rae v Natalya
Vickie Guerrero was on commentary for this match and following the infamous slap on Total Divas on Sunday, it seemed these two had a score in the ring.
Vickie announced that Sunday’s match will see all the divas in the ring at the same time and it will be one fall to the finish. In the ring, Summer hit a clothesline to Natalya for a near fall.
Natalya then hit the suplex and looked like she was going for a clothesline but Summer slapped her again, to which Natalya hit the spinning clothesline and slapped Summer.
Natalya tried to lock in the sharpshooter but Summer kicked her off and tried to exit the ring, Natalya grabbed her hair and tried to pull her back inside but Summer used her long legs to kick her in the face for the win.
The Authority headed to the ring and told the WWE universe that they could say goodbye to the Yes Movement tonight. They talked about how quickly the WWE Universe moved on, because this time last year Fandango’s dance was huge with the whole world "Fandangoing" and now no one cares.
Triple H then talked about the fact that everyone thinks his success came from him marrying well, before they showed a video about all the superstars Triple H has gone through on his way to the top.
The COO then talked about everyone being just players in the game and he is The Game.
He said he was going to beat Daniel Bryan and then step into the ring with Randy Orton and Batista and walk out of Wrestlemania as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
The Authority were then interrupted by The Animal, Batista told Triple H that he noticed he wasn’t in his video, and that’s because he’s never beaten him. Triple H then mocked the way he dressed and told him to concentrate on his match with Randy Orton. Batista then mocked Stephanie calling her the brawn.
Randy Orton then came out and told Stephanie if she was going to slap Batista he wanted a front row seat, but he wanted to beat Batista up tonight. Randy then asked Triple H to reconsider being in the triple threat match at Wrestlemania for his own sake if nothing else.
Triple H told him all the ass kissing in the world wouldn’t stop him and only Randy Orton becoming The Viper again could help him retain his title. Before telling him that his match against Batista tonight was now no disqualification.
The Usos and Los Matadores v Rybaxel and The Real Americans
Jey Uso and Ryback started the match up with Jey slapping the chest of the big man before he delivered the arm drags an tagged in his brother.
Axel was tagged in and Jimmy gained the upper hand before Los Matadores were tagged in and they drop kicked Axel before tagging Jey back in.
Cesaro finally came into the match and delivered the upper cuts but Jey hit the superkicks before he tagged in his partner Jack Swagger. Jey hit the DDT on Swagger before disposing of all of the other team.
One of Los Matadores flew outside the ring to take out Cesaro before Jimmy got the tag and he flew out after Ryback.
Jey tagged in and hit the splash on Swagger for a near fall but was then knocked out of the ring. Raw returned with Cesaro on top of Jey Uso.
Ryback was tagged in and Jey hit a springboard bulldog and tagged in Jimmy who took on Axel and hit the Samoan Drop.
Ryback tried to break up the two count but was superkicked out of the ring for his efforts, Jack Swagger blind tagged himself in and hit Jimmy in the face with his boot but Los Matadores broke it up. Cesaro tried to get his swing but it was broken up and Cesaro rolled to the outside, closely followed by one of Los Matadores.
Inside the ring, Swagger went for the Swagger bomb but Jimmy reversed it but Swagger tried to lock in the Patriot lock, but Jimmy superkicked his way out of it. One of Los Matadores fgot the tag and went for the splash but Swagger locked in the Patriot lock again. Jimmy Uso broke it up and Los Matadores swapped places and rolled Swagger up for the win.
Fandango and Damien Sandow v Cody Rhodes and Goldust
Rivalries between these guys have been slowly building over the past few weeks, and Sunday they will all be involved in the Andre the Giant battle royal.
Fandango and Damien alienated Cody from his partner and began to wear him down, but Cody fought out and got the tag to Goldust who hit the spine buster on Sandow before delivering the Atomic drop to Fandango followed by a double cross-body.
Goldust hit the stop slam for a near fall before Cody mille drop kicked Fandango and flew outside to take him out. Inside the ring Goldust delivered the final cut for the win.
Winners: Cody Rhodes and Goldust
BACKSTAGE: Seth said he almost feels bad for Kane. They said they didn’t care who got the vote to take on Kane tonight because he was in a bad way and if the New Age Outlaws get involved they will find out why their fists are the new symbol of excellence.
Bray Wyatt v R-Truth
This looked like a squash match for Bray as he was all over R-Truth, but Truth found an advantage when he hit the splits followed by a kick to the face. Bray hit a cross-body followed by a head-butt.
Bray looked like he was toying with R-Truth for most of the match and finally got the win of Sister Abigail.
The lights went down after the match and a person in a blue jump suit appeared wearing the sheep mask. It turned out to be John Cena he cleared the ring delivering a clothesline to Rowan and an Attitude Adjustment to Harper before going for the same to Bray but he fought out and exited the ring.
AJ Lee v Naomi (Lumberjill match)
AJ Lee was knocked out of the ring and the Lumberjills threw her back in. But when Naomi was knocked out, no one threw her back in.
Naomi hit a kick to the face for a near fall. AJ then locked in a submission manoeuvre before delivering a neck breaker. Naomi then hit a kick to the face and went for her split legged moonsault by AJ rolled out of the ring and the divas tried to attack but Tamina saved her, only for all the divas to turn on them both.
AJ crawled back in the ring and Naomi hit the superkick for the win.
BACKSTAGE: John Cena was with Renee and he talked about desperate times calling for desperate measures. He told Bray to be careful what he wishes for because Sunday he will see fire, hell and Rage and John Cena will be a monster.
Jerry Lawler then announced that the WWE Universe had chosen Roman Reigns to face Kane next.
Roman Reigns v Kane
The two powerhouses went after each other and Kane went for the chokeslam but Roman used his strength to break the hold before delivering a thunderous clothesline and following it up with his kick from outside the ring.
Roman then went for the superman punch but The New Age Outlaws made their way to the ring but Seth and Dean came after them making sure they didn’t get involved. The distraction allowed Kane to get to his feet and try to deliver a clothesline but Roman hit the superman punch.
Seth and Dean then climbed in the ring and began the beat down on Kane but the New Age Outlaws involved themselves and saved Kane from the triple power-bomb.
Raw returned with Roddy Piper in the ring, he talked about it being 29 years since Wrestlemania 1, which he had the honour of being in the main event of. He then talked about the Andre the Giant Memorial battle royal. He said he was going to bring out the odds on favourite and The Miz interrupted.
The Miz said he has won the main event of Wrestlemania unlike him. Sheamus then came out and told Miz he wasn’t fit to hold Roddy’s kilt when it came to tv shows. Titus then interrupted to say that he was going to win this Sunday. Dolph then came out wearing an Andre the Giant shirt to say he was going to win.
Miz, Sheamus, Titus and Dolph began to fight before they were joined by the rest of the battle royal participants. And Rey Mysterio’s music hit and he came to the ring and hit the 619 on Sin Cara. Big Show then made his way to the ring and cleared it. Rey was the only one left, he hit a 619 to Big Show’s legs before Big Show threw him out as well.
Batista v Randy Orton (No DQ)
The Authority came out and sat on commentary for the match. Inside the ring, Randy Orton threw Batista shoulder first into the steel post. Before the fight went outside the ring, and Batista dragged Orton back in.
Orton then Irish whipped Batista into the barricade before he was sent into the time-keepers area. Batista had found a chair and began the beat down on Randy but Orton moved and he hit the ring post. Batista was then bounced off the announce table and was driven spine first into the barricade before Orton picked up the chair and hit him square on the back with it.
Orton was then knocked out of the ring and bounced off the announce desk before he was driven spine first into the apron of the ring.
Orton found a kendo stick and began to beat Batista with it but The Animal threw Orton shoulder first into the steel steps. Batista then took the fight back into the ring and hit the spine-buster, then went for the Batista bomb but Orton countered into a back breaker.
Orton then hit the DDT off the ropes but outside the ring Daniel Bryan had appeared and was beating Triple H. Randy Orton climbed out of the ring and saved Triple H throwing Bryan into the steel steps.
Batista then speared Randy and Bryan hit his running knee to the face of Batista before taking out Triple H at the side of the ring.
Bryan started the beat down with a kendo stick before The Authority backed away up the ramp and Daniel Bryan started the Yes chants to end Raw.
So, the build-up to Wrestlemania has reached it's peak and the showcase of the immortals finally happens on Sunday...Who will walk out World Heavyweight Champion? Will we see the end of the yes movement? Who will win the Andre the Giant battle royal? All will be answered Sunday when the biggest Wrestlemania in history finally comes to us live from New Orleans.
