Former NHL great Wayne Gretzky has admitted that back when he played there were some parts of his game that he wasn't proud of.
Gretzky was speaking of his playing career, one that spanned 20 seasons in the big league and was full of accolades that matched the quality production he produced on the ice.
He scored a total of 894 goals in 1,487 NHL games, but it was his assists that were the most impressive, with more than one a game at 1,963 in his career.
So it doesn't seem to the casual observer that they would have been too many cracks in Gretzky's armor, but he insists that there was one area that he wished he could have improved.
"I wasn't very good at it [fighting]," he told TMZ Sports.
It hardly stopped him from becoming one of the best players in NHL history, and some would even say the best.
Let's for a minute actually think about the prospect of what could have been a fighting competent Gretzky.
The thought alone is scary. Man's got to have some weaknesses or else we're just gods.
