Holk Hogan and John Cena were promoting WrestleMania 30 on ABC's 'Good Morning America' today and they hinted at a potential match up that would excite any wrestling fan.
Speaking ahead of the annual extravaganza the two WWE icons were asked about recent rumors suggesting the pair could link up as a tag team in New Orleans:
"Never say never in the WWE" came the response from Hogan.
"I love John Cena and if he gets into trouble I got a receipt for these young guys."
And Cena was quick to repay the faith shown in him by the recently returned superstar:
"I'm a life long Hulkamaniac so I agree, never say never."
Both wrestlers have stood at the top of the organization for long periods in recent decades, and have teamed up in the past - most famously perhaps when they joined Shawn Michaels to take on Chris Jericho, Christian and Tomko on Raw in 2005.
So any link up would be sure to go down were with the WWE faithful.
At present though, the suggestions of Hogan returning to the ring alongside Cena remain only rumors and with the latter facing a huge fight against Bray Wyatt he may have to put other thoughts to the back of his mind.
Mind you, we wouldn't be surprised if Vince McMahon was lining this one up to bring the house down at the Superdome come April 6.
