Former WCW star Sting is rumoured to finally get his highly anticipated bout against The Undertaker at the WrestleMania 31 event - but will then call time on his wrestling career.

Wrestling rumours have reported that Sting has agreed a deal with the WWE and could even make his debut in the WWE as early as WrestleMania weekend.

Rumours have been running rampant about the most famous superstar to have never competed inside a WWE ring, with many suggesting he is still eager to sign with the company, whilst other reports suggest a deal was signed a number of months ago and will definitely appear either at WrestleMania XXX, or the following night on Monday Night Raw to begin promoting the match.

The latest reports surrounding Sting suggests that he will only work one match during his time with the company, and that match is expected to be against The Undertaker at WrestleMania 31 in Santa Clara, California. Which will then imminently be followed by his official retirement.

As of right now we are unsure as to how the WWE will be using Sting, but it is widely expected that the build-up with his match against The Undertaker will kick off in a similar style to that of The Rock and John Cena for their first match, a year long build-up culminated at the showcase of the immortals.

Those who represent Sing have denied that he will be anywhere near WrestleMania this weekend, even though he has been advertised as a 'main event name' for the WrestleCon event which takes place in New Orleans, the same place WrestleMania XXX will be taking place.

Sting wants The Undertaker as his final opponent, and has reportedly been studying tapes of The Undertaker to understand his style in the ring. He is even willing to train with The Deadman at his personal gym which the majority of his WrestleMania opponents usually do. The match will then conclude with Sting finally being inducted into the Hall of Fame.

The year long debut will allow the younger audience who are not familiar with 'The Icon' to understand his character and what he means to the wrestling industry as a whole. The merchandise will sell incredibly well and hopefully his potential bout against The Undertaker goes down as a magnificent spectacle.
