We all know Johnny Manziel has a host of A-list friends, with 'Johnny Football' often garnering criticism that his off the field activities overshadow his football performances.

And today one of his celebrity cohort has boosted the draft prospects celebrity status a little further.

Rap superstar Drake released a new track Wednesday entitled 'Draft Day' in which he name-checks the former Texas A&M quarterback on a number of occasions.

Canadian basketball prodigy Andrew Wiggins also gets the star treatment in the 5 minutes long track after he declared for the NBA draft this week.

Drake put the track out on the 'October's very own' Sound Cloud page with a picture of Manziel enjoying the off-field lifestyle attached. And while the rest of the track covers everything from Jay Z to actress Jennifer Lawrence, the rapper begins by mentioning the two athletes heading for the pros this summer.

Both Manziel and Wiggins are amongst the favorites to be taken with the first overall picks in their respective drafts after impressive seasons as the collegiate level.

You can listen to the track in full here, although, as you might expect, there are a few choice phrases so be warned.
