Wes Welker delighted 11-year-old girl by signing her head

Denver Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker thrilled a young 11-year-old fan by signing the head of the cancer patient.

An unusual request for the NFL star but Welker was very happy to do so for the young girl who was thrilled with the signature she received on her cranium.

Welker met Delaney Clements when he served as a celebrity chef at an event in a children's hospital in Aurora.

Clements is fighting stage four neuroblastoma and has undergone treatment for the cancer which has made her hair fall out.

She asked the NFL wideout whether it was possible he signed her head and Welker duly obliged, afterwards the young girl said 'She planned not to was her head ever again.'

As you can see in the photo, Clements is ecstatic about meeting one of her favourite players and getting a very special autograph off of Welker.
